EXAMINATIONS AND STUDENT GROWTH

At Bastet we pride ourselves in the growth of our students. We feel that in many instances an external qualification provides students with a constant sense of progression, working towards an end point is a fantastic way to build confidence, at the more senior levels exams can count towards UCAS points.

Through the dedication, hard work and commitment of our students and teachers we have consistently achieved a very high standard in our formal examinations, but we can go further still! Having said this, we will only enter students into examinations under the Bastet name, when their teacher feels they are ready, participating in exams is an individual choice.

At Bastet we follow the I.S.T.D Syllabus in Classical Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz and Classical Greek. About the I.S.T.D The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) is the world's leading dance examinations board.
